The Russian SMP Racing program’s driver Sergey Sirotkin was appointed as an official test driver and development driver of the French Renault F1 Team. His first appearance for the team will be a participation in the free practice sessions in the coming up Grand Prix of Sochi this weekend.
Furthermore, this season the Russian driver will spend several test days driving a car Renault F1, will participate in the work of the research center team, and will pass a series of training sessions on the simulator of the team.
