Mikhail Aleshin

The driver was born on May 22, 1987 in Moscow. He started to participate in the races when he was nine. From 1996 to 2002 he became the Champion of Russia three times (1998, 1999, 2000) and he became the Karting Champion of Scandinavia (2002). In 2001 Mikhail moved to the formula races and participated in the Russian Championship Formula 1600 and Formula 3, and in 2003 he started to participate in the foreign races. In 2007 he became the first Russian racer to win the victory in the International Series – Aleshin was a winner of the first stage of the World Renault Series season in Monza. In 2010 Mikhail became the first and so far the only Russian champion of this series. In 2014 Aleshin was the first Russian racer to take part in the American racing series – IndyCar – and he finished his debut season on the 16th line as one of the best beginners of the season. Aside from that, Aleshin has already taken part in such prestigious championships as GP2 and A1GP. Mikhail also participated in testing of the Formula-1 cars within Red Bull and Renault.
