Alexander Vartanyan
The driver was born on July 20, 2000 in Moscow. He began karting when he was 5. In 2007 he was a winner in the Moscow Cup (the “Raket” class) and the Russian Championship (the “Micro” class). He continued to compete in the Russian Championship the following four years and gradually made the transition to the upper classes. In 2010 he was a winner of the Russian Championship and Russian Cup and became the champion of Moscow in the “Mini” class. In 2011 he won the victory in six of seven stages of the Russian Championship (the “Super Mini” class) and became the winner of the season. At the same time he tried hand in the karting races abroad, achieved success and became the vice champion of Sweden (the “Mini 60” class) and won the VikingTrophy in the Mini 60 class. In 2012 Alexander took the vice champion of Russia title in the KF3 class and in 2013 he successfully started to participate in the European and world karting races and became the winner of the Italian tournament – the Industry Trophy. In 2014 Alexander successfully competed in the European Karting Tournament WSK Champions Cup.
