Description

One of the most famous tracks of France, from 1970 till 1991 it hosted the Formula-1 French Grand Prix. Now it often hosts the endurance races and the GT car racing competitions. In connection with the fact that the track length is about six kilometers it enables to hold safe competitions in which several dozens of cars can compete. Due to the innovative asphalted “run-off areas” this track is the safest one in Europe.

Peculiarity: the main peculiarity of the track is 1.8 km straight line – Mistral – that enables to move at the maximal speed. Sometimes for reasons of safety the straight line is divided with a bundle of bends into two parts.
