Smolenskoe Koltso Russia

The Smolenskoye Koltso Racing Track has been originally designed for the touring races that is why the track width constitutes 12-15 m and there are many high-speed bends. Upon opening the track was licensed as corresponding to the FIA II category that enabled to organize competitions of any class of car racing with the exception of Formula -1. Apart from the Russian championships the European championships of the cars that correspond to the GT3 class and the European Truck Championship have been organized here.  
Peculiarity: Hermann Tilke, the author of the majority of the new Formula-1 tracks, was the racing track architect.
