The first international races crossed the streets of Marrakech in 2009 at the time of the World Touring Racing Championship stage and the Auto GP competitions. The minimalistic track configuration caused fight literally in each bend. Most often the drivers overdrove each other in the sharp hairpin of the final bend and in other places the struggle was stipulated by numerous chicanes.

Peculiarity: D3 Motorsport Development, the company that created the famous street track in Surfers Paradise, designed this track.
