“The trainings before the opening race of the WSK Euro Series went well for me, I was driving quite fast all the time,” shared Nikita Bedrin. “I was the first after qualifying and during my best lap I even managed to overtake my rival. On the last day of the round, we changed the engine, and I had a very good speed. After the qualifying heats, I kept the lead, thanks to which I started from the first place in the prefinal and kept the position. Therefore, in the final, I started from the first position again. At the first races it was very hard to build a gap from rivals, but then I finally my grip increased, and I started to be quicker. The car behaved well and helped me to win the race. I am very happy and want to thank SMP Racing for such a good job.”

The second round of the WSK Euro Series will be held April 25-28 in Angerville, France.
