The International Karting Championship, held from 2006, is constantly evolving and today is of interest to the major world manufacturers. Series of one-stage and multi-stage kart tournaments are held in Italy and divided into categories: WSK SuperMaster series, WSK Champions cup, WSK Euro series and WSK Open cup. The WSK Super Master Series is on equal footing with the European Karting Championship. Racing starts in February, when the FIA series has not yet started, and all the strongest drivers come to test their capabilities before the start of the main competition as most of them participate later in karting series of the FIA.
