On June 3, 2019, the presentation of Drive Master, the world’s first car talent show took place at Moscow Raceway in Moscow region.
The project was produced by the Russian television channel NTV in collaboration with the SMP Racing program, the development program of motorsport in Russia, and the Auto Plus TV channel.
Anyone, regardless of age and gender, is welcome to take part in the show. A huge pavilion with tribunes that can accommodate hundreds of spectators will built especially for the show, and some of the car tests will be held at Moscow Raceway.

The show will consist of three rounds: qualifying sessions, where each participant will pass an individual test, semi-finals with more difficult tasks and the help of professional stuntmen, and the finals, which will finally settle who is the best driver in the country.

Nikolai Fomenko, a showman and professional driver, and Polina Maximova, a popular theater and film actress, will host the show. The project will be broadcasted on the Russian NTV and Auto Plus TV Channels. It will include a series of episodes and exclusive behind-the-scenes shots.

Earlier, in April 2019, Keshet International, the leading global content producer and distributor, announced its co-development partnership with NTV, Russia’s leading commercial broadcaster, presenting a brand-new primetime entertainment talent show called Drive Master. The project became the first example of joint development of a non-scripted format by a Russian TV channel and the largest player on the world television market.

Gazprombank and the insurance group SOGAZ are the main partners of the project. The show is sponsored by G-Energy motor oils manufactured by Gazpromneft, the tyre manufacturer Bridgestone and the pharmaceutical company Polisorb JSC.
