The 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race is a part of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup calendar with double points. The race will kick off on Saturday, July 27, at 16:30 Local time.

“I want to congratulate everyone in SMP Racing on another great result. This time we got in the top 3 qualifying rounds of the coolest GT3 race in the world, the 24 Hours Spa,” said Mikhail Aleshin. “The marathon is very long, it was important to show that we are fast. On the other hand, in the 24-hour race there is a lot that can happen, so the main work will begin tomorrow. The weather in Spa is hot, but the heat has lasted for many days, including practice sessions, so there were no surprises with the car’s behavior during qualifying. At the same time, the forecast for tomorrow is not predictable: for example, they promise rain and lower temperatures. The main thing is that there won’t be snow, as in May during our race in the FIA WEC.”
