In 1/8 final races Samorukov made a false start and couldn’t fight for a win further according to the rules of the competition.
“The main result of the second round is that the car drove smoothly, steadily and demonstrated its great potential,” Dmitry Samorukov said. “In the qualifying sessions, we managed to show a very good time of 6.152 seconds. For comparison, it is 0.2 seconds faster than the Russian record, which we set last year in Grozny. The cars in the FIA European Drag Racing Championship are very complex, fast, but at the same time allow you to reach a new level. In the next rounds, we have the task to continue to use the potential of the car, to improve the results and regularly get to the final."
The third round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship will take place on July 6-7 in Finland.
